Get one of the final spots for Jeroboam Switzerland August 23-24 now!

Last Call to Be First and ride with us the 1st edition of Jeroboam Switzerland

More than a gravel ride, a journey beyond — Jeroboam 300 sends you on the paths, dirt roads and a bit of asphalt along the Jura mountain range. The route will flirt with the French border, heading south-west. An immersive 300 km, at one with nature. It will be a rewarding challenge with some epic sections and scenic routes. We promise to try to keep it rolling more than climbing all the way! And if you think 300km is too much, choose your challenge of 150km, 75km or 37,5km!

Text by Rene Wiertz - 11 August 2019

In less than 2 weeks the 1st edition of the Jeroboam Switzerland Gravel Challenge will take place in the breathaking Jura area.  There are a few spots left, so register now!

We offer 4 routes, ranging from a crazy 300km to an easy 37,5km ride.

Jeroboam 300km

This is the ultimate challenge, both physically and mentally. Prepare for something special that should leave vivid memories for years. The route features most of the 150km route with an additional 150km what will take you through the Jura mountain range and plateau.

It will be a gruelling experience but it will be safe. Bear in mind that we will not provide staffed check points. There will be a place where you can stay, relax, nap, drink approximatively half way, in La Chaux-de Fonds.

Your bike will be checked before the start to make sure it can sustain the terrain and challenge; you need lights and good working brakes.

Jeroboam 150km

Big boys and girls ‘ challenge! Not for the faint-hearted. Close to 4000m of climbing through stunning scenery. One third will be on asphalt and the rest on gravel or forest trails. You will be riding through various little villages giving your the chance to resupply and charge…..your batteries.

Race wil start Saturday 24th August at 9 am.

Jeroboam 75km

Gravel blender! This loop features all the ingredients required to challenge the mind and body. Uphill : 1900m but the good news is that downhill is also 1900m :-)! You will be exploring various terrains, crossing fields, riding along with horses and cows. Expect a couple of km of single track and don’t feel ashamed if you have to step down a couple of times. Breathtaking scenery!

Jeroboam 37,5km

A short but intense taste of gravel. Don’t be fooled by the distance, it will be challenging in many ways : close to 1000m of climbing on gravel and forest roads with a sprinkle of asphalt to start and finish the loop. You will be touring the infamous Val Terbi.

A version bypassing the big climbs will be made available for families upon request.
