New Exploro TEAM Force!

For a limited time only, the Exploro is available as a complete bike in magnificent Racing Green with SRAM Force drivetrain

Posted by Gerard Vroomen - 16 October 2018

You know, we’re a bike company so we launch new bikes regularly and usually people are excited. But when I saw the first photo of this Racing Green Exploro, I said “I want one”. And pretty much everybody who has seen it since has said the same thing.

Problem is, we already decided how many to make long before anybody had seen the final result. So if you want one for yourself, be quick. We’ll get a few each month for the next couple of months and then it’s over.

The specs are great, with a bullet-proof SRAM Force 1 drivetrain, Quarq power-ready cranks, Discus Plus Pro wheel sets and WTB Byway RoadPlus tires. These wheels and tires roll great on pavement but have enough volume and bite on the edges for your off-road adventures. The Superergo Pro bars up-front give you a great road position for the fast stuff and control for the tricky bits.

You can find more detailed specs and pricing on the Exploro page.

Considering purchasing the frame.Whats the sizing like ? I am 185cm and ride a Ridley Helium SL in medium.I am also keen to know the performance of this bike in 700c road wheels.I intend to use the bike as a do it all.Normally riding on road with some cyclocross and gravel.

Hi Vivek, the Medium Helium is very close in fit to the Large Exploro, within mm, so presuming the Ridley fits you well, so will the Exploro. Sometimes people think they will sit differently on their gravel bike, but with the Exploro that is really not the case. You have the massive tires to take care of the bad surface so that your body can stay in that fast road position. Hence you can port over your Helium position directly onto the Exploro, with at most 10mm more stack in the front (but more often 0mm).

    Hello
I ordered one of these by the end of August for a delivery “End of October”. This was good and a fair announcement.
Facing December soon, there is no sign of the frame.

Really poor service: My dealer has no information about when (if at all??) they will receive it. The first explaination was the horrible weather conditions which caused to stop the port of Genua, which startet working again on th 8th. This is now two weeks agao and the frame is not customs cleared yet??? This is a really poor customer servce!

Hi Reiner, the reactions on this new Exploro Force have been overwhelmingly positive. Unfortunately we got our part of dealing with Italian bureaucracy and your bike is at customs at the moment. My team is working hard to get the paperwork sorted and to get you your bike in the next week or so. Lets cross fingers that the Italian customs gets a bit more efficient!

Hello, Is it possible to spec a complete build exploro (size S) with 165mm cranks before delivery?

Hi Husain, all our retailers can deliver the Exploro with your choice of crankset. From the online store it would come standard with a 170mm crank.

        Hi

I have enquired about this and in the uk its not easy only if you go custom build which pushes the cost up.

Hi Keith, sorry to hear you have trouble getting this done, the best option then would be to buy it in the online store. Obviously it is not one of the standard options in the store, but if you send a message to us via https://company.3t.bike/contact-us/ and tell them what you want exactly (which stock bike, and which changes), they will get back to you on what the options are. And there should be no uncharge for that (if the change is for a similar product obviously, gold-plated cranks are extra!)
