Mat strikes again

Mat wins Barry-Roubaix, the worlds largest gravel road race, beating his winning time of last year by more than 10 minutes.

Barry Roubaix is largest gravel race in the world with 3500 riders. The Panaracer team had some amazing results in the race: Mat Stephens 1st Open men, Rob Bell 5th Open men. Kae Takeshita 3rd Open women, Mike Marchand 4th Age Group. The team also won the overall team competition!

Who! The pressure was on yesterday for the Panaracer/Stan’s NoTubes p/b Bicycle X-Change racing team to win the largest gravel/road in the world again. And Mat Stephens did well on his New Exploro Flat Mount!: he won this 10th edition of Barris Roubaix in 2:48:13, beating his winning time of last years Barry-Roubaix race with more than 10 minutes. Congrats Mat! And it has only been a couple of weeks since you won the Landrun100 gravel race in OKH!

But there were some more amazing results of this 10th edition in Hasting Michigan: Rob Bell won the pack sprint for the 5th place! Also a big congrats to you Rob! Kae Takeshita nailed 3rd place in the Open Women’s Race, and Mike Marchand 4th at his Age Group.

The squad was also thrilled to grab the team competition win today as well! It was an amazing day and we look forward to the 2019 Barry-Roubaix race which will be held on April 13th 2019. Congrats to all of you!
